Phoebe Waller-Bridge is being eyed to write another Bond movie. We’re here for it!
We’ve yet to see Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s work on No Time to Die but it seems as if she hit it out of the ballpark as Waller-Bridge is being eyed to write Bond 26.
Emmy Award-winner Phoebe Waller-Bridge is taking the world by storm in the best possible way and everyone is taking notice. Especially those who are working with her on the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, No Time to Die.
Waller-Bridge, who joined No Time to Die at the request of star Daniel Craig himself, is known for her ability to bring characters to life in the most exciting of ways. And with her recent award-winning work on Killing Eve, it isn’t a surprise that she’d excel at writing for the character of James Bond.
But now, it seems as if Waller-Bridge will be spending a bit more time in the world of Agent 007, because there are rumors that she’s in talks to take on the story of Bond 26 as well. It’s an exciting prospect because there have been very few women to have written for the Bond franchise in the first place. And the fact that Waller-Bridge was first brought on to liven up a script and will now getting a movie all her own shows both her ability and her rising power in the industry.
Not that we doubted her abilities.
From her work on Fleabag to Crashing and Killing Eve, it is clear that there is something special when it comes to Waller-Bridge that has us all intrigued. Her ability to write characters (and not just women) brings them to life in a way that you can relate to even the most vile of people. But then again, her characters are not necessarily vile, but rather fully human. They all have their flaws and they make mistakes; but, at the end of the day, it is something that we can all relate to in one way or another.
It’s why we can all fall in love with a character like Fleabag and enjoy her journey, even if she makes choices we never would. So it is going to be exciting to see how Waller-Bridge takes on Bond!
