The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was full of stunning outfits, but in particular, these eight pieces really stole the show.

Every year, the Emmy Awards ceremony stuns viewers with its red carpet arrivals, showcasing our favorite celebrities in their often elaborately planend designer getups and reminding us why so many of them inspire us. And the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards was no different. Dozens of actors and actresses took to the red carpet in style, and we couldn’t help but admire the confidence and class many of them exuberated with their appearances.

Even stars who weren’t nominated for awards were looking sharp last night, and many of the actors and actresses who stepped onstage to present awards were as well dressed as their nominated counterparts. And of course, those who were up for awards in various categories prepared by going all out with their wardrobe.

Styles throughout the night ranged from loud and bold to natural and classic, and one type of style certainly wasn’t better than the other. While many celebrities donned bright colors and patterns, just as many channeled a more natural look on the red carpet. The combination brought variety and personality to the show.

But as with any awards show, there were a few attendees who really stood out for their outfits. And these are our favorite eight looks from last night’s Emmy Awards ceremony.
