Zendaya’s Vera Wang gown

The internet went wild when Zendaya arrived on the red carpet last night, and who can honestly blame them? The Spider-Man and Euphoria actress was positively radiating confidence in her green Vera Wang gown, and her arrival inspired many to channel their own inner divas. Because we all have some of that spunk in us, even if we can’t all be exactly like Zendaya.

The dress in question is one with a sheer corset top and a slit up the left leg, a style that, combined with the green color, almost immediately got the actress compared to the DC Comics character Poison Ivy. And to be fair, with Zendaya’s red, wavy hairstyle, she did seem to be channeling the villainess’ energy. Plus, come on — that’s a casting choice we’d all be onboard for, especially after seeing her as Mary Jane in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Zendaya’s simple choice of shoes and accessories also added a natural class to her look, and the Brian Atwood suede pumps complemented the dress well. Zendaya has made so many of the “best-look” lists for this year’s show, and it’s no surprise. The 23-year-old actress was turning heads the entire evening.
