The 100 has one episode left before its sixth season comes to an end, and there’s still plenty of story to wrap up. What will happen this week, and how will it set the stage for the show’s seventh season?

The sixth season finale of The 100 airs this week, and it’s been a pretty wild ride since Clarke and her friends arrived on the New World. Even trying to be the “good guys,” they managed to start a war with the Primes — and lose Madi to the Dark Commander Sheidheda in the process.

With the final episode on its way, it doesn’t seem like all of the conflicts of season six will be fully resolved by the time it comes to a close. In fact, knowing this show, we’ll have some kind of curveball thrown at us during “The Blood of Sanctum,” especially with a seventh season already confirmed.

But what exactly will happen during this week’s finale? And how will it set the series up for its next season? After last week’s episode, we have a few ideas…

The Primes will get put into Cryosleep.

The last we saw of the Primes, they were running away from their own rioting people — and up to space, where a now-awake army awaits them. Clarke, Raven, and Gaia are accompanying them, and the three might be in over their heads. But judging by the preview for the episode, Indra and her people have things under control.

And even with Clarke’s insistence that Indra and her people stand down, there’s a good chance that the Primes are going to lose. But it’s also unlikely that Clarke will kill any of them (as much as we’d love to see Russell get some comeuppance after last week). To prevent them from causing further damage, we’re guessing the group will force the Primes into cryosleep. It saves them from stooping to the enemy’s level, and it gets the enemy out of the way — for now.

Madi will go full-on Dark Commander.

Madi’s storyline is one that’s unlikely to be fully resolved by the end of the next episode, especially since the debacle with the Dark Commander would make for a great season all on its own. We know Madi’s already sort of gone full-on Anakin Skywalker by killing a few of the Primes’ followers, but what if she were to turn on her own people?

She’s already threatened Gaia multiple times this season, and it’s obvious that Sheidheda would like to eliminate all of Skaikru. They all pose a threat to his control over the girl, and so, it seems probable he’ll attempt to get rid of them through Madi.

The preview for next week shows Gaia engaging in some sort of struggle with Madi, but what if the girl wins? That would certainly make for an interesting twist.

The Blake siblings will finally make up.

Yes, the Blake siblings finally got around to speaking to one another during “Ashes to Ashes,” but their relationship is far from back to normal. Bellamy’s assertion that Octavia isn’t his responsibility anymore is still haunting us (please don’t let one of them die), and their interactions with one another have been incredibly icy.

If we’re being honest, we’re a little tired of the two of them being mad at each other. This may be wishful thinking, but perhaps something will bring them closer together during the finale. There’s nothing like getting attacked by hordes of angry people to bring a family closer together, right?

Murphy will save the day.

Murphy’s storyline has been all over the place this season, and he’s definitely made a few decisions that require some redemption. With Bellamy and the others being attacked by the Primes’ followers, could Murphy finally make things up to them?

When Russell and the other Primes went into space, Murphy and Emori chose to remain behind to help their people. They’re both wearing ceremonial garb, though, and they were supposed to become immortal. Could they somehow swing this to their advantage, using it to convince the rest of Sanctum’s people to listen to them?

The group will wind up separated…somehow.

If there’s one thing we know about The 100 season finales, it’s that the group usually winds up separated from one another. This, of course, happened during Praimfaya in the fourth season — but it’s also something that occurred during the earlier seasons of the show. And if Skaikru is going to successfully defeat the Primes, it makes sense. After all, with everyone forgiving one another this season, there has to be something that comes between them.

And if we absolutely had to guess, we assume there will be a lever involved somehow.
