When it comes to celebrity chefs with the kind of fun personalities that make you wish you could meet them in real life, Sunny Anderson has to join the conversation. With Anderson, it is about so much more than her successes and Food Network that make her someone we would love to dine with.

Of course, the fact that she is a Food Network star who appears on a number of different shows, including The Kitchen, certainly helps. In fact, it is her work on The Kitchen alongside chefs like Katie Lee and Jeff Mauro that really cements her place on this list.

On the series, Anderson not only shows off her own cooking skills, but her ability to help her fellow chefs with grace, charm, and good humor makes her one of our favorite celebrity chefs. Beyond her co-hosting on this series, we love when she pops up on Beat Bobby Flay. Even though her goal is to have a chef beat her friend in the kitchen, she has so much fun and is always so playful that it makes her seem even more personable than the average celebrity.

I think it would be a lot of fun to sit down with Sunny Anderson and ask her what inspired her to be a chef and what it is like to work on multiple Food Network programs. At the same time, it would be great to learn from her as well and discuss ways to improve my own home cooking skills.
