From judging on Chopped to competing to be an Iron Chef, Amanda Freitag has repeatedly proven her culinary knowledge. As a regular judge on Chopped, Freitag has made it clear that not only can she cook, but she also has the ability to use her palate to help other chefs improve their own craft.
Over the years, the chef has proven to be a very gracious, kind, and honest judge, which is something that inspires us. And of course, it is her ability to be honest that makes us want to dine with her. How cool would it be to sit down with someone with such an impressive palate?
However, I will say that it is not just her Food Network career that makes us think sitting down for a meal with Amanda Freitag would be an amazing experience. There is also the fact that she has cooked in a number of top restaurants, which makes her culinary background fascinating enough for us to want to pick her brain over.
Of course, there is also the fact that she has tried to help failing restaurants across the country to reestablish themselves with the help of Ty Pennington on the Food Network series American Diner Revival. This alone is conversation worthy, not only because of the good work she was doing, but also the fact that it must be hard to step in to try to help salvage a business.
Honestly, Amanda Freitag is truly an interesting chef, and the fact that we don’t see her on tons of shows, but rather a select few, is what makes her someone we would want to sit down and have dinner with.
