When you think about the pieces in your closet, what comes to mind? Do you have pieces that are versatile and can be worn dressed up or down? If you are truly looking for an outfit that is just as perfect dressed up as it is down, then this look from Emilia Clarke has to top the list.

Not only is a plain black T-shirt one of the most versatile pieces a person can own, but like the actress did, you can pair it with a more elegant skirt for a look that works day or night. While you can find this kind of shirt anywhere, my biggest recommendation when looking for one is not to opt for a unisex shirt. Instead, make sure it has the right fit for a more feminine feel.

For me, finding these types of plain T-shirts is relatively easy thanks to Target, among others. Stores often carry options in different colors and even fabrics to make your wardrobe more versatile in the best ways possible. That’s why the focus here is on the skirt itself.

One of the first options I found is the Stripe Print Maxi Skirt from Venus. For this skirt, it is all about the print and the luxurious look that this piece offers. It also helps that it’s priced at $39. Even though this skirt is not the same cut as what Clarke wore, it still has a very refined look to it that pops.

An alternative skirt that actually gives us all the Emilia Clarke vibes comes courtesy of H&M, thanks to their pleated cream/striped skirt. While her skirt does not have pleating, it does have a similar silhouette, and the color scheme is actually quite comparable. Honestly, at $54.99, this skirt feels like it is meant to be on this list.
