From his grand entrance to his actual outfit, Billy Porter took the Met Gala pink carpet to the next level. Not only was he carried onto the carpet in a golden bed by multiple men, but then he gave us the true life of the outfit – its golden wings.

This golden outfit with its giant wings and stunning headdress make us think of Ancient Egypt. And if ever there was a perfect person to take on the role of king, it would have to be Porter in this moment. This is a look that is head to toe perfection. It is so over the top that it is exactly what we needed in our lives.

While the entrance alone was enough to make Billy Porter the center of the spotlight, his overall outfit was one that screamed golden god in many ways. Honestly, the actor gave us life and we are all for that.

It is hard to think of any outfit topping Porter, and that is okay. After all, it was time for the men to really step up their fame when it came to the Met Gala fashion show put on every year (the pink carpet fashion show).
