Considering Jared Leto walked the pink carpet of the 2019 Met Gala with a replica of his own head in his hand, it makes sense that he would make the list of campiest outfits of the night. From his red dress to the strands of gemstones adorning the material, Leto knows how to make a statement in style.

Not many people would think of getting a fake head that was nearly identical to their own face in order to give their outfit the pizzazz it needs. But somehow Jared Leto just makes this whole thing work. With how often he has been known to do wild and weird things, this latest choice is unsurprising. What is surprising is how well this whole look works for the singer.

Leto is a true standout at this year’s gala, and most of it has to do with his fake head. Not too bad for a night out on a pink carpet. Somehow we are totally okay with this look, right down to the head in his hands.
