Okoye series

The women of Wakanda couldn’t do anything to disappoint us. Sure, we might sound like fangirls, but the Dora Milaje, the spies, and the tech genius of Wakanda have so many extended stories yet to tell, and Okoye is obviously no different.

Can you really blame us for wanting an Okoye series? Based on Black Panther and Infinity War alone, we can already assume it will be filled with intricately-paced fight scenes and general kick-butt-ery. Seriously, Okoye is not only a powerful warrior and protector, but she’s also a well-apt leader, and her leadership shines in time-sensitive situations.

Giving Okoye a limited series or a regular-sized series would give viewers the opportunity to learn more about her leadership skills beyond just the power of her weapons and punches. Plus, we’d get some insight into her personal life. As we wait for her series to officially be confirmed, we’ll be daydreaming about the Wakanda Forever comic narratives we hope to see adapted into her Disney+ series.

Since Black Panther didn’t feature Okoye and Ayo’s unfolding love story in the movie, hopefully Okoye’s series could focus on their relationship. After all, every hero needs a love interest, and this way, her series could develop their relationship even more.
