MCU rumors: Your guide to all the Marvel films and Disney+ series

Rocket and Groot series

Given the overwhelming theme of terrible and abusive fathers in Marvel comics and the MCU, we’d love to see the father and son team-up series with Rocket and Groot. After all, young Groot thinks of Rocket as his dad, and he is.

Obviously, not every MCU dad is terrible, but between Ego The Living Planet, Odin, Howard Stark, and Thanos, there are a lot of crappy dads in this cinematic universe. However, an intergalactic series about a positive father and son crimefighting duo (who also happen to resemble a tree and a raccoon) sounds like it would be a perfect niche for Disney+.

Unless Endgame creates a time paradox or the surviving heroes create an entirely new reality or universe with the Infinity Gauntlet, the Rocket and Groot series will probably take place after the Thanos-thrashing events. Their series could have a high probability of establishing the next phase of the MCU, or at the least heavily influence it.
