Idris Elba is hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time, and we’re super excited. Plus, the musical guest for the night will be Khalid.

It’s taken Saturday Night Live 15 episodes to feature the sexiest man alive as the host of the show this season. I don’t know if that’s bad on Saturday Night Live’s part for taking so long to get him on the show, or if it’s a success that they were able to get a hold of him in the first place.

Of course, Idris Elba is very in-demand right now. He’s starring in Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw this year, he appeared in multiple Marvel movies, and is even signing on to replace Will Smith in the Suicide Squad sequelOn top of that, he’s even has a new Netflix show, Turn Up Charlie, where get to see the DJ side of him come out.

This week, it’s safe to say that we’re going to have a great episode with Idris Elba on our hands. And even if the episode flunks, the British actor has enough talent to pull through any sketch. Plus, I’m sure we’ll have some good music this week, as the musical guest is Khalid. He’s a soulful singer with some great hits, so you’ll definitely want to tune into his performances.

Oddly enough, it’s been a quiet week for Donald Trump when it comes to politics. Perhaps he’s trying to keep to himself after his failed meeting in Vietnam — which, even if this doesn’t bring us a hilarious cold open, it’s still good news for the rest of the U.S. This may mean that we get a Fox News or CNN opening from them instead. So I just hope it’ll be a good one.
