15 Carpool Karaoke episodes worth watching over and over

Adele is one of the greatest singers of our generation. And listening to her sing can bring tears to the eyes. But watching her sing along with James Corden in Carpool Karaoke was equal parts uplifting and hilarious, and the fact that they were driving around London just made the entire thing that much better. As a Londoner, Adele knows all the best spots, so it was nice to see her in her natural habitat, even if it was during a car ride.

Who would have expected the honey-tongued Adele to break into a Nicki Minaj rap? I definitely didn’t expect to see or hear that. But listening to her spit the lyrics Minaj sings in “Monster” was a treat all on its own.

Of course, the real reason I tuned in was for some classic balladry and we definitely got that as well. Even in a car singing along to the radio, Adele’s voice is simply magical. It’s hard to express how impressive it is to hear the singer go from rapping Minaj lyrics to belting out the lyrics to her songs.

The singer gave us renditions of some of her classic hits, including “Someone Like You,” “Rolling in the Deep,” and “All I Ask,” which is exactly what we expected to hear in her Carpool Karaoke segment.

At almost 15 minutes, you would think this was enough time to get the best of Adele and James Corden together. But really we would have been happy with even longer, just like we got with Paul McCartney. However, we aren’t greedy, so we are definitely good with the 15 minutes we got. Then again, we wouldn’t mind seeing these two singing in a car together in the future.
