Captain Marvel could be dusted before Endgame

We get it: Carol hasn’t even officially entered the MCU yet, so her unlikely dusting might seem improbable. Given the permanent and temporary deaths in Infinity War and the unexpected credit scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp, we’d be more surprised it there wasn’t a shocking snappening at the end of Captain Marvel.

I may have devised this dismal theory embarrassingly early one morning after rereading Mar-Vell’s death; however, we’re certain other people have speculated that Carol might be a part of the, unfortunately, snapped population. Now, we’re using it to cope with Carol’s potential disintegration, no matter how temporary it may be. Though we’ll still probably see Carol in Avengers: Endgame, watching her befall the same fate as Sam Wilson, Mantis, and so many other heroes would heighten the risks in the impending Avengers-related film.

Losing half the universe already made the odds of defeating Thanos bleak. However, Captain Marvel is the most powerful hero currently in the MCU, and losing her abilities in a rematch against the Eternal Titan would likely lead to even more permanent bloodshed in Endgame.

With Carol’s possible dusting ahead, we’re certain her Flerk— we mean cat will avenge her decimation. After all, Goose is a powerful fighter, and she will help defeat Thanos.
