Riverdale spinoff: 5 crossovers we want to see in the new Katy Keene series

Archie Andrews and Katy Keene… more than just friends?

In the comics, Archie Andrews and Katy Keene were friends. But could they be more if a crossover occurred?

Archie and Veronica have broken up, so what’s to say that Katy and Archie might not have a fling? Perhaps Archie finds his way to New York in order to deal with things that happened with Hiram Lodge. Or maybe Katy comes to Riverdale for some reason and these two find each other face to face. Either way, there is potential for their story to grow and build in a natural way.

Katy and Archie may not end up in school together, but there is nothing that says they can’t find another way to bring these two characters together. Archie has a lot of soul-searching he needs to do, and why not head to New York to do it?

We don’t know how Katy Keene will be introduced into the world of Riverdale or if she will be kept separate like The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Perhaps like Sabrina, we will see little Easter Eggs that remind us these two worlds co-exist in the comics. Whatever happens, we hope that there really are some crossovers that take place, even if they are done in a way we didn’t see coming.
