Although Katy Keene is primarily considered a model in the comics, it’s important to remember that she is also a singer. In fact, as Entertainment Weekly shared in the description for the new series, we are going to see Katy singing and acting as she struggles to find work on Broadway. Of course, she’ll also be looking for work as a model while also trying to make it work in the recording studio. And what better way to have a Riverdale crossover than an episode in which Katy gets to either sing with or learn from Josie and the Pussycats.

With Katy Keene hustling as hard as she can in New York, we think having Josie and the Pussycats (or even just Josie) make an appearance to offer support and guidance would be an excellent opportunity for a crossover. As a bonus, if Katy actually got to sing with Josie, we bet that would help inspire a few jobs.

Since Riverdale already offers us some musical episodes and often gives us a look at Josie’s singing career, we think it makes perfect sense for these characters to meet and potentially work together. Even if they just had these two singers crossing paths with each other, it would make sense for them to have a connection because of their chosen career paths.
