18 Marvel character team-ups we’d love to see in the MCU

Kamala Khan and Carol Danvers

Speaking of female friendships, we’re beyond ready to see the motivation for all our fangirling, Kamala Khan a.k.a. Ms. Marvel, make her cinematic debut. Given the mentorship role Carol Danvers has in Kamala’s life, we’d love to see a cinematic version of their many comic team-ups.

After all, Carol did inspire Kamala to use her abilities, once she develops them from her Inhuman gene, to fight crime. Kamala doesn’t just look up to Carol because she’s a hero in a multi-colored suit, she nerds out over Carol’s due diligence to make the universe a little safe and a little less chaotic. While we’d love to see a clip of Kamala in a future Captain Marvel film and see a film version of Kamala look to Carol for her heroic mission plan, Carol and Kamala work together as an optimistic team.

Though Carol is indirectly and directly her mentor, the Skrull-punching hero also checks in on Kamala to make sure she’s balancing her personal, school, and heroic life. Similarly, Kamala also questions Carol’s motives. Whenever they collaborate in the crimefighting industry, they help balance each other out.
