Jake and Amy – Brooklyn Nine-Nine

What you need to know: For one, you must know that you can get all of the married Jake and Amy your hearts desire on NBC now. Since Fox cancelled the show, their love has found a new home, and a whole new batch of ‘shippers, to make this show one of the most popular on the network.

As far as their relationship goes, they start as friends and co-workers in a police precinct in Brooklyn, but their immature flirting turns serious, and they’re married now. (Check out Amy and Jake’s wedding – it was a big TV moment in 2018).

Why we ‘ship them so hard: Maybe it’s their awkward earnestness, or the way they just simply complement each other, but these two feel like they were made for each other. While it doesn’t seem like these two should be such a perfect fit, they go together like Nutella and Doritos. It’s surprisingly yummy.

Not only can we dump all our romantic aspirations on to this couple, they also make us laugh. Sometimes they are making us laugh with them, and sometimes the shenanigans demand we laugh at them. But they never seem to mind being the butt of the joke, as long as they are in on the joke together.

How to watch it all unfold: The series has been cultivating this pairing since almost the very first episode, so you’ll have to go way back to the beginning to get all the details. You can find all the previous episodes on Hulu, and the latest on NBC’s website.
