18. Yondu

Yondu is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to being a bad guy. On the one hand, he’s on the hunt for Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy, while also being a leader of a faction of Ravagers, but on the other, he’s what amounts to an adopted father with the ability to see reason (since he did join forces with the Guardians in order to take on Ronan the Accuser).

When it comes to his bad guy ways, we all know that Yondu is more likely to look out for himself than anyone else. But at the same time, he is very protective of Peter, whom he considers his son and ultimately sacrifices his life for.

That being said, what better romantic partner is there than one who would sacrifice himself for you? And that’s not all; he also pays attention to what a person likes. For example, he goes out of his way to snag a new music player with a collection of songs just for Peter, all because he knows how important the Walkman filled with music is.

As an added bonus, there is the fact that Yondu is a fan of Mary Poppins, and any guy who can appreciate not only Disney movies but also a musical is definitely date-worthy. At least in my eyes, it makes him completely dateable. Just think: what better way to enjoy a date night than with dinner and some Disney movies?
