Vulture is slowed by Spider-Man’s webbing in Columbia Pictures’ SPIDER-MAN™: HOMECOMING. /

6. Vulture

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, we met Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes, also known as Vulture. Here is a villain who is so much more than a bad guy. In fact, we almost hate to call him a bad guy, as he has his reasons for what he does. Of course, that doesn’t negate the fact that he does terrible things, but at least we understand his motivations.

Toomes is a man who loves his wife and daughter. And that makes him a true family man. In fact, he has no problem giving the what are your intentions talk to Peter Parker when they first meet, as you can see above. Even when he realizes who Peter is, he tries to talk him out of coming after him, for his daughter’s sake if nothing else.

He protects the people he cares about and also has a sense of loyalty that makes him a winning partner. We have totally seen how he is with his wife, which just adds to his overall appeal. The fact is that he has real motivations for everything he does and makes decisions based on what he thinks is best for the ones he loves.

We honestly see him as perfect date material in many ways because of his loyalty, sense of romance, and even his ability to be honest, even as a villain. In fact, we would totally date him because of all the things that make him such a solid family man, but of course, he is already married, which is definitely a bit of a bummer. We even have to give him credit for having not betrayed Peter when the chance came while he was in prison.
