7. Arthur emerging from the waterfall

This one might not come as a surprise, but another one of our favorite thirst moments comes after Arthur is found worthy of the trident of Atlan and is proven to be the one true king. As he emerges from the waterfall with the trident in hand and his new suit (one reminiscent of the comics), we get to see a king taking his rightful place in the world.

Here is a man with power and pride. He doesn’t believe that he is a worthy king, but he is a hero and this scene gives us both a thirsty moment and one that is also powerful. We honestly have a hard time calling this a thirsty moment because of how important it was for Aquaman, but at this moment Arthur was too hot for this scene not to make the list. (We think it was the flowing hair, the cascading water, and of course the way the new suit fit his body.)

8. The battle with King Orm

There was something about the final battle between Aquaman and King Orm that left us quite parched. Maybe it was the fact that Arthur had finally embraced his past and his future, or perhaps it was the fact that this time he had the upper hand over his brother. Either way, our eyes were focused and taking it all in.

During this battle, we see Arthur no longer a man of the land or a confused Atlantean in the sea — we see a king on the rise, ready to take what is his. Confidence is sexy, and if that confidence comes in the form of a king reclaiming his throne, pass all the glasses of water over here please.
