10 of Aquaman’s thirstiest moments on the big screen

5. Mera and Arthur’s exit from the sea

After escaping King Orm following Arthur’s less than successful challenge for the crown of Atlantis, we see Mera and Arthur exit the sea like Baywatch lifeguards (which is fitting in the case of Jason Momoa). Even fully clothed, both Mera and Arthur commanded our attention as they walked out of the water and hit the beach.

Honestly, we almost wish the scene had gone on a little longer, so we could have truly appreciated the moment. As is, we found the water cascading off of both Mera and Arthur a treat, and we were okay with the fact that this was a scene that included clothes.

6. Injured Arthur on the boat

The bonus of Arthur being injured after taking on Black Manta was the fact that once again we got to see Jason Momoa shirtless. While we were definitely not happy to see him getting stabbed and having to be doctored up by Mera, we wouldn’t mind nursing Arthur back to health.

And the fact that Arthur and Mera are on a mission to find the trident of king Atlan means that being injured is not a good thing. We were happy to see him up and on his feet, ready to take on the people (creatures) of the trench. Injury wasn’t going to keep our hero down, and it definitely didn’t. However, we were still thankful for another look at shirtless Aquaman (sorry not sorry folks).
