Rebellions take shape, worlds collide, and families hopefully reunite as Outlander enters the second half of season 4.

The disparate storylines of Outlander‘s fourth season finally seem to be coming together. As of the most recent episode, Brianna and Roger are en route to the New World.

As the synopsis teases for this week’s “Wilmington,” they are going to be back in each other’s arms very soon.

Here’s the episode description, courtesy of Starz:

"Roger’s desperate pursuit of Brianna finally pays off. Meanwhile, Jamie’s loyalty to the Governor is tested when he learns of a plot and ultimately decides to team up with Claire to avert disaster."

But that’s not all! The episode promo reveals Roger will ask none other than Fergus (César Domboy) for clues about Bree’s whereabouts. Even better: he refers to Fergus as “sir”! Unfortunately for the newly-ponytailed Roger, this stranger with whom he shares a strong, as-yet-unknown connection, does not recognize the woman in the drawing.

We know Bree gets to North Carolina, but it’s doubtful she arrives unscathed. You see, the promo also presents season baddie Stephen Bonnet brandishing the ring he stole from Claire and talking Bree’s ear off about luck. Brianna, I know Roger would agree with me when I say, “Run! Get away from this creep as fast as you can!”

Meanwhile, the Frasers return this week and are, once again, up to some history-in-the-making hijinks. The Governor and his fellow redcoats are on to Murtagh’s planned “insurgence” and have set a trap. This apparently leads to Jamie finally picking a side (spoiler alert: it’s Murtagh and the other overtaxed Scots) during a huge, swanky gathering at the Governor’s Wilmington mansion. Claire, of course, will be deployed to distract the Brits with her smarts, feminine wiles, and impressive knowledge of medicine and the complexities of 18th-century American politics.

And Claire, Jamie, Bree and Roger will all find each other by episode’s end, right? Right?!

Hey, even if they don’t, this promises to be a great Outlander fashion-wise, at the very least.
