Remember the decor

Whenever you are hosting a dinner party, it is important to have a clean and presentable home. And this includes paying attention to the decor. Specifically, when planning a holiday dinner fit for a royal, you will want to spruce things up a bit. Set the table, including a tablecloth and cloth napkins.

We recommend a white linen tablecloth, flowers on the table (and because you are going for a dinner fit for a duchess or two, we recommend choosing fresh flowers and even throwing in a favorite of either Kate or Meghan), and complete table settings for every single person attending.

And while you may not consider it decor, your invitations set the stage for your dinner. So, remember to send one that has a touch of elegance to it, while also clearly stating the theme and offering any specific instructions (including dress code or dishes to bring).
