Even after 25 years, the stop-motion animation in the film is still the standard we look to when it comes to these kinds of movies.

Just think, if something did not line up just right, they would need to reshoot the entire scene just to get it the way it needed to be and make sure the flow was correct. That means that there is a certain measure of precision required to get the animation perfect, and that is exactly what Tim Burton did, he got it perfect.

At the same time, there is something even more artistic about stop-motion animation. There is a beauty to the movements that really captivates the imagination.
