It’s finally here. The Big Bang Theory‘s 12th and final season will air this Monday, September 24 on CBS. The show is coming to an end following Jim Parsons’ decision to end his time on the show and pursue newer projects. While the news of Parsons’ exit was shocking to fans, the show has broken records for being the longest-running multi-camera comedy — thus it’s been a minute since many of the cast have done anything else besides TBBT. 

Last we saw the show’s nerdy four, Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj, along with the women who put up with them, Penny, Amy, and Bernadette, they were all witnessing the unthinkable. Sheldon saying “I do” with Amy, and tying the knot for season 11’s finale, “The Bow Tie Asymmetry.” We also had a few other surprises in store with Howard finding Star Wars icon Mark Hamill’s dog, and Stuart actually meeting someone who may like him — for real.

CBS’ synopsis for season 12’s premiere previews Sheldon and Amy may be having a not so smooth honeymoon, while Penny and Leonard are having a relationship issue of their own.

"Sheldon and Amy’s honeymoon runs aground in New York; Penny and Leonard discover they are uncomfortably similar to Amy’s parents; Koothrappali insults physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and starts a Twitter war."
