Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum is no stranger to the Saturday Night Live stage. In fact, he hosted twice (both for his role of Ian Malcolm in Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park). His momentum hasn’t stopped since Lost World‘s press momentum has died down, and that’s largely in part to Goldblum himself being the attraction. We’re more than ready to see him appear on SNL again.

Plus, he has his jazz album coming out this November, so why not show off his comedic chops, play a little for us, and reconfirm why he’s beloved by fans everywhere.

The only hitch we can see happening is, ah, well, ah, you see, ah, Goldblum can tend to go on tangents for unforeseeable lengths of time. Then again, ah, SNL could find a way to make it work — heck meck a whole sketch just letting Goldblum rant about whatever he wants?

So to see Goldblum be both the host and the musical guest to get everyone ready for his jazz album debut would be quite the treat for fans of both SNL and the man himself. He’s had some pretty great sketches the last two times he hosted, and we’re easily ready for a third round of Goldblum on the show.
