Hemsworth hosted back in 2015 and crushed it with his mighty hammer, so why not bring back Chris Hemsworth to help promote Bad Times at the El Royale? The movie has an all-star cast (Dakota Johnson, Cynthia Erivo, John Hamm, and more are among some of the top names apart from Hemsworth), but could use some more publicity as it’s flown a little under the radar so far.

W Magazine outlined what the movie was actually about and it is definitely a topic not many have covered. The film is based on the meetings between Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy, and Frank Sinatra — super scandalous.

The trailer showed off a very wet and very shirtless Chris Hemsworth, so uh, we’d happily take any parodies off of that. Why is he shirtless in the field? No one really knows and to be honest, we don’t need any reason. Hemsworth shirtless in the rain seems like a perfect way to promote Bad Times at the El Royale and SNL should help us see more of that kind of thing.

The movie is set to hit theaters October 12, so Hemsworth would have to host one of the first few episodes of the season. We already know he can handle it — his sexy secretary role in Ghostbusters and plenty of scenes from Thor: Ragnarok have shown his comedic ability. And hey, maybe SNL writers can convince Hemsworth to do a sketch shirtless. You know, for comedy or something.
