Bruce Willis is tasked with going to space with a crew to blow up a massive asteroid is headed to Earth. His daughter is played by Liv Tyler, and she’s upset as both her father and boyfriend, played by Ben Affleck, are going up for this dangerous mission. Space was clearly a hot topic in the ’90s, with all the movies wanting to bring us into space even if it meant the end of everything.

Armageddon is still a pretty great movie but to be honest, most people remember “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith more than anything else.
