1991 – Beauty and the Beast

It is telling when someone says this is their favorite Disney movie. Luckily for me, my favorite Disney movie was also popular the year I was born! Beauty and the Beast has gotten a lot of slack throughout the years but it is truly one of the greatest love stories out there.

Belle, a beautiful bookworm from a small town in France, ends up going to live in an enchanted castle with a beast when he kidnaps her father because he trespassed. There, she finds that the servants from the house are all enchanted objects and they want her to fall in love with their master.

The Beast was once a prince who is cursed when he’s rude to an enchantress and the love story between him and Belle is one that we can’t seem to get enough of. The music is incredible, with “Beauty and the Beast” being one of the most iconic Disney songs of all time.

It was really one of the best Disney movies of all time, being released during Disney’s box office domination of the ’90s. Be our guest and watch it again and again for all the good Disney feels.
