Everyone goes running up the stairs in Philadelphia for a reason. That reason? Rocky. The movie centers around the story of Rocky Balboa and is a classic. Plus it’s the reason “Eye of the Tiger” pumps us up so much.

Sylvester Stallone stars as Rocky Balboa, a boxer trying to make a name for himself. Through hard work and dedication to his training, he is able to box against Apollo Creed and actually hold is own. What’s great about the movie is that while it is a classic, there are just so many references people still make to it. From punching the meat to yelling “ADRIANE” out, Rocky has given us a lot throughout the years. Including multiple movies with weird storylines and now Creed starring Michael B. Jordan and Sly himself.

Also we should thank the gods for giving us “Eye of the Tiger” because it has fueled many a fierce workout.
