Paul Bettany and Pom Klementieff know ‘nothing’ when it comes to Avengers 4 either
It turns out fans are not the only ones who know nothing about Avengers 4. Even the stars of the franchise are being left in the dark.
If you have seen Avengers: Infinity War (and if you haven’t by now, you need to), then you know that the movie left us all with a lot of questions. And while we will hopefully get answers in Avengers 4, it seems as if we may not be alone in wondering what will happen.
In an interview with MTV held at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Paul Bettany and Pom Klementieff were asked if they knew what would happen in Avengers 4. Although the question might seem innocent enough, Bettany joked that it was a leading question. The actor even said that snitches end up with stitches in ditches (his go-to line when talking about Avengers spoilers).
Of course, all joking aside, the two actors made it clear that they really don’t know anything about what to expect out of the fourth Avengers movie. While Paul Bettany said that they “know nothing” about the final script for Avengers 4, Pom Klementieff emphatically agreed with a simple “No.”
Essentially, it sounds like the actors who are actually in the movie only know what we already know. Klementieff even said that she knows that Kevin Feige has said Avengers 4 is the “end of an era,” and so her guess is that this is the end of the road for some characters. Simply put, even the Avengers themselves don’t know what is coming next and that’s kind of scary.
In fact, Paul Bettany actually shared his experience with reading the script for the movie. According to the actor, he was given a script to read, and then received a call from the Russo brothers. On the call, he was asked what he thought and when he answered with “oh it’s great,” he was told that actually wasn’t the real script.
Bettany then received another script to read, only it was the same script. When asked about it again, he pointed this out only to be told he got the wrong one. It seems this happened again before he decided not to keep reading scripts that were not being filmed. He finally asked the Russo brothers how it all ended, only for Joe Russo to answer with, “I think me and Anthony are going to have to leave town.”
Based on this interview, it seems as if Avengers 4 is going to be bad for some of our favorite characters. But at the same time, we don’t actually know what is going to happen. And with even the stars themselves being kept in the dark, it sounds as if the movie will end up being just as epic and insane as Avengers: Infinity War was.

While we won’t know what happens next for the Marvel Cinematic Universe until Avengers 4 premieres, it seems we are not alone. Turns out, even the Avengers will have to wait and see what comes next.
