Tom Holland may have given us some new spoilers for Avengers 4

Tom Holland is at it again. And while he may not have given away too many details about Avengers 4, he has hinted at the importance of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

When it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tom Holland may be one of the newest additions, but he already has a reputation for being unable to keep a secret. In fact, in the past he has even said that the reason he does interviews with certain cast members is in an effort to tame his unruly tongue.

In an interview with Benedict Cumberbatch that’s recently resurfaced through a fan-theory video, Holland seemed to unknowingly reveal a bit more than he needed. The two actors simply talked about delivering their lines. And while we don’t know exactly what Cumberbatch had to say about this, we do know Tom Holland’s thoughts were a bit spoilery.

Holland explained that he believes Cumberbatch had “the most difficult lines” in comparison to his own. However, it was his continued discussion on the difference in their lines that offered up a bit of a spoiler for Avengers 4.

According to Holland, “He [Cumberbatch] has to talk about so much Quantum Realm stuff. I just have to talk about, ‘Yeah, man, that’s awesome!’ So mine is easy, but his is so difficult!”

When it comes to the Quantum Realm in terms of Avengers: Infinity War, the reality is that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange did not really talk about this alternate realm in the film. Up until Infinity War, the only Avenger who has been to the Quantum Realm (outside of Doctor Strange briefly visiting it in his solo movie) is Ant-Man. And we see him go again at the very end of Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Of course, while Tom Holland may have offered a bit of a hint as to what could save the day in Avengers 4 in terms of the Quantum Realm, it is actually Ant-Man and the Wasp that has offered up even more of an idea for fans. Particularly the idea of the Time Vortex, which Janet Van Dyne told Ant-Man to stay away from before he went into the Quantum Realm.

While she may have told him that it would be impossible to save him if he went into the Time Vortex, the idea of time travel has been a big thing for fans speculating about how the Avengers are going to come back after Infinity War. Whether or not this really is the key to fixing what Thanos did to the universe, we will have to wait and see, but at least we know (thanks to Tom Holland) that the Quantum Realm will most likely be important going into Avengers 4.

Although Tom Holland may have gotten a bit spoilery once again, we actually don’t have enough to go on to really say that the actor has spoiled anything for Avengers 4 just yet. With how little we know about the upcoming movie, his tease is just that, a tease of things to come. Or at least we hope so.
