Spanish Mode Buzz Lightyear – Toy Story 3

In the first two Toy Story films, we were all rooting for Woody and Bo Peep, but since Bo Peep left the house sometime during the timeline between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3, most likely through a garage sale (a symbol of Andy and his sister growing up and out of their toys), Pixar decided to introduce a new relationship to the franchise, and a rather unexpected, yet hilarious one: Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. But while the pairing might have been a surprise to viewers, it was how they got together that was truly iconic.

Who knew that a little malfunction to Buzz’s factory settings could do so much damage? After Ham, Woody, and Rex try to fix Buzz’s settings, they seem to send things a bit haywire, introducing audiences to Spanish Mode Buzz Lightyear.

This scene shows off Buzz’s hidden tango skills — something he did not even know he had — which Jessie ends up loving. This particular scene takes place at the end of the film after Buzz is back to his old self; however, it seems that Spanish Buzz is still in him, as Jessie turns on some music, and Buzz is instantly ready to tango.
