20 of the most unforgettable Pixar moments

The race for the door – Monsters, Inc.
If you have seen Monsters, Inc., then you definitely remember the door chase scene near the end of the film. As Sully and Mike try to find Boo’s door in order to return her to her room, Randall chases after them, wanting to capture Boo and steal all of her screams with the tricked out machine he has dreamed up.
It is one of the most thrilling and suspenseful Pixar scenes as the group jumps from door to door, in an attempt to ward off Randall. Children’s films are not always known for their action-packed scenes, but the fast whirling doors keep the pace moving at full speed, making it hard to keep track amidst all the motion — a great way to keep the audience at the edge of their seats.
Pixar also does a great job of keeping the moment from getting too stressful, by throwing in a few silly moments like when the gang runs through Paris in search of another door, as well as when Mike and Sully discover that Boo’s laughs can light up a door just as much as her screams do. That laughing ends up being particularly key to stop using screams to power Monstropolis — and going for laughs instead.
