Ant-Man and the Wasp casting list points to a bonus villain in the movie

An Ant-Man and the Wasp casting list shows a familiar comic character who was not announced to be in the movie. Could we be in for an additional villain?
Ant-Man and the Wasp might have been keeping something very secret from us. And we’re not talking about what happens to Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne in Infinity War. We’re talking about a secret villain who’s rumored to show up in the film.
A casting list posted by Stitch Kingdom (a fan account for Disney news) on Twitter shows that a character by the name of Elihas Starr will appear. If that name doesn’t ring a bell to those who aren’t die-hard comic fans, that’s the name of the villain who goes by Egghead.
This character, according to Marvel’s universe wiki, was a scientist who illegally tried to sell his government work blueprints on the black market. This villain, in particular, was more from Hank Pym’s Ant-Man days when he fought alongside Janet van Dyne as The Wasp.

Depending on how Marvel wants to take it, Starr could appear a few different ways in the movie. He might be a character referenced to in a flashback, considering there are roles for a young Hank and Janet. (Although he’s not necessarily billed as being “Young Elihas Starr”.)
In another way, Starr might actually be a secondary villain behind Ghost. Perhaps he’s the one pulling the strings. Or, even better, perhaps he’s working with Bill Foster if Ava (Ghost) turns out to be Bill’s daughter — and Bill is the one pulling the evil strings.

If Egghead isn’t going to play a pivotal role in the film, he might be a background character who could later be established as Ant-Man 3’s villain. This could either be done sometime throughout the movie or in a post-credit scene. Although, the post-credit scenes will likely have to be something that nods to Infinity War/Avengers 4 or Captain Marvel. Because, really, we just want to find out what happens after Infinity War.
