Supergirl season 3 finale live stream: Watch online
By Amy Woolsey
The team prepares for one final showdown with Reign in the Supergirl season finale. Here are details on how you can watch the episode.
Well, we made it. After 22 eventful episodes of varying quality, Supergirl season 3 comes to an end tonight.
Last week, Reign returned with a vengeance. Far from dying when separated from Samantha’s body, she became more powerful than ever. Now, Selena and her fellow priestesses have enlisted the Worldkillers in a new mission: transform Earth into a new Krypton. Discontented with their place in Argo City, the priestesses are determined to survive at any cost.
The process has already begun. “Make It Reign” ended with a series of catastrophes sweeping across, from hurricanes to tsunamis. In order to save the world, it seems, Supergirl has to fight nature itself.
Read the official synopsis for the season 3 finale, titled “Battles Lost and Won”, below:
"SHOCKING SEASON FINALE – Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team take on Serena in an epic battle for Earth."
It’s unusual for Supergirl to provide such a vague synopsis. What shocks does “Battles Lost and Won” have in store for us? That ominous description gives us reason to worry that not everyone will make it this time.
Most vulnerable of all is Samantha. Although now in control of her own body, Sam remains linked to Reign’s mind. In other words, as the Worldkiller becomes stronger, she grows weaker. Her bid to reverse their positions by venturing into the Dark Valley seems risky, to say the least. Can Supergirl vanquish her enemy without sacrificing her friend in the process?
Regardless of how things turn out, the finale looks action-packed. Of course, the real question is: how many times will J’onn and M’yrnn make us cry?
