After a brief pause, The Originals is back on tonight, and after a slightly longer pause, #Klaroline is back too.
In this week’s episode of The Originals, “What, Will, I, Have, Left”, not only is Hayley still absent without leave, but Hope will sneak out out of The Salvatore School. She’ll scamper off with vampire Roman, supposedly to meet a witch about a dog (OK, werewolf). This does not look good for Hope. Roman reeks of dodgy. More may be revealed about Roman’s desiccated past and his connection to the purists.
A couple of familiar faces are returning. Yeah! At long last, Elijah looks set to return to New Orleans and help find the missing gals. Klaus’ message from the previous episode about taking action has finally sunk in. Alas, it’s shaping up to be too little, too late.
Hearts will be aflutter as Klaus and Caroline reunite. Hayley’s unrequited love, Declan, has been waiting on the bench all season. He may be stepping up this week and trying to break into the cool group.
The episode is directed by Charles Michael Davis, also known as Marcel.

"After learning how she can get Hayley back, Hope sets off on a dangerous mission to end the mess she started. Klaus turns to Caroline for help when he discovers Hope’s plan. Vincent and Freya clash over whether to let Declan in on New Orleans’s supernatural secrets."
