Legion is still fighting against the heroes and villains and what that means. So where can you watch this week’s episode?
Every week, Legion reminds us of the insanity that is part of David Haller’s mind. While not as rooted in the wild part of David’s mind, season 2 is doing a great job of showing us what it is like for him now that he knows about the Shadow King.
Recently, we saw a shift in the show. The idea that “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” was thrust into our minds as David fought with the vision of future Syd telling him to help Farouk find his body.
Because then, the end of the world and the destruction of Farouk would be on our “hero’s” hands. But then again, when has David Haller ever been a normal hero? He’s tortured, he is trying to figure out his place, and sort through his mind.
All these things make him a little skewed under the umbrella of “superhero.” And that’s what makes Legion so amazing. David isn’t a cardboard cutout for a hero. He’s a flawed human who is thrust into this world because of who his father is and he doesn’t really know how to handle any of it.
So what is going to happen in the fight against the Shadow King and the world? This week’s preview says “the path forward will be revealed.”
We’ll have to wait and see. Especially since there aren’t that many episodes left in this season!
