Wonder Woman 2 has some interesting domain names with clues about the next movie

Have you been tracking the Wonder Woman domain names? Well, if you want spoilers for the sequel, maybe you should.

We are all anxiously awaiting any news on Wonder Woman 2, and we’ll look anywhere for more info — even if that means looking toward the purchasing of domain names.

Recently, Warner Bros. went on a bit of an adventure to buy any and all domain names that could maybe be tied to the sequel, as noticed by Domain Name Wire. Or at least that’s what the internet thinks. With the purchase of domain names such as “wonderwoman1980.com” and going through the rest of the decade (’81, ’82, and so on), fans are convinced that this confirms that Ms. Prince will be taking on the end of the Cold War in her next turn as our beloved Wonder Woman.

Other domains include “wonderwomancheetah.com”  and “wonderwomanminerva.com”. Cheetah, as we’ve come to know, will be the villain of the movie played by Kristen Wiig. The “Minerva” domain, then, hints at Cheetah’s real name, Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva.

Then there’s also domains that take the name “Wonder Woman Lives,” “Wonder Woman Arrives,” “Wonder Woman Returns,” and “Wonder Woman Rises” — all just Warner Bros. being excessive about Wonder Woman making a return. Though excessive, they’d make excellent subtitles for the sequel.

Though filming hasn’t begun yet, we all know it’s going to have to do a lot of explaining if it is supposed to fit into this idea of Diana that is present in both Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League. If she’s around and fighting as Wonder Woman in the ’80s, it’s already out of character from what the DCEU showed her as in both films.

All that being said, hopefully, this movie continues on the road that Patty Jenkins laid. And with her back as director, it seems a bit more promising than Justice League. At least Patty understands that she’s not everyone’s mother and is amazing all on her own.
