Westworld season 2 episode 4 live stream: Watch online

After getting a rare week off, the Man in Black (aka William) takes center stage on Westworld tonight. Here’s how you can watch the episode.

Like its robotic heroine, Westworld made some aggressive moves last week. For starters, it expanded to the East, introducing theme parks inspired by British-colonized India and Edo-era Japan. The show also staged its biggest action sequence yet, as Delos security forces assailed a Confederado fort in a Game of Thrones-style bloodbath. However, their firepower proved no match for the nitroglycerin with which Dolores rigged the battlefield.

With its three intertwining storylines, “Virtù e Fortuna” gave virtually every major character a chance to shine — except one. The Man in Black was noticeably absent. Have no fear, though; it looks like he, along with his reluctant companion Lawrence, will be back in a big way. Judging by the trailer for this week’s episode, his quest for the Door involves railroads and an encounter with Craddock.

Of course, you wouldn’t know any of this from HBO’s description. The synopsis for “The Riddle of the Sphinx” is as enigmatic as that title and the synopsis for every other episode of Westworld season 2 so far:

"Is this now? If you’re looking forward, you’re looking in the wrong direction."

Last week’s synopsis consisted of a quote from the actual episode. Should we assume that’s the case here too? If so, who is talking, and to whom? And if forward is the “wrong” direction, does that mean we should be looking backward? Should we expect more flashbacks? Neither the trailer nor the official stills hint at another trip down memory lane à la “Reunion”. But you never know…
