Duchess (The Aristocats)
Cats might be the sassiest of all animals, but the Aristocats are nothing but classy. It’s probably the biggest character trait of Duchess and one that she definitely passed on to her kids.
The cats were raised in a seriously high-class home, treated to the finer things in life. There were certain standards to be met, and Duchess made sure her children met them, without being too harsh about it.
She encouraged them to act like perfect gentlemen and lady, focusing on self-improvement rather than playing rough.
But when Duchess and her children are abandoned on the side of the road by their owner’s butler, she assures her children that everything’s going to be all right. She doesn’t know where they are or how they got there, but she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get home. She even trusts an alley cat to make sure she and her children make it to Paris.
Duchess is fiercely loyal to her owner and making sure her children are taken care of. She’s loyal to the point of turning away love to get back home. Luckily, she gets exactly what she deserves in the end: her home back, her kids safe, and a new dad for them.
