Each week Saturday Night Live brings us the laughs and enjoyment. This week seems just as promising with Amy Schumer hosting!
Saturday Night Live has been pretty incredible this season. With each new episode, it seems like we are getting closer and closer to that show we used to talk about non-stop. There are constantly viral videos from the show and the world can’t get enough of Alec Baldwin as Trump.
So will this week hold up to the legacy the show now has? With Amy Schumer hosting, the reactions may be mixed. Amy, who became famous with her own sketch comedy show, has gotten quite the heat for some of her comments and jokes.
The announcement that she would be hosting this year came with mixed reviews but still, she knows how a sketch show works. One of her sketches even won awards! So we at least know that, at the end of the day, Amy Schumer can handle a hosting gig at Saturday Night Live. And she’s always done it before!
With musical guest Kacey Musgraves, this episode marks the second to last of the season. That’s right, we’ll have an entire summer without Saturday Night Live content. Maybe we’ll all just have to watch that Black Jeopardy sketch that Chadwick Boseman did again and again.
But as we head into tonight’s episode, the real question is: Who did they get to guest star as some political figure in the cold open this time? Can they top last week’s? We’ll have to wait and see.
