RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10 episode 8 live stream: Watch online

This week’s RuPaul’s Drag Race is going to be a Cher extravaganza! Get ready for lots of singing, dancing, and plenty of fake slaps. Snap out of it!

Forget about all the drama between The Vixen and whoever she’s fighting today. Who cares about last week’s Snatch Game? Who cares about anything, because this week’s RuPaul’s Drag Race is paying tribute to a true icon: Cher!

For the mini challenge, the remaining queens have to pull off their best fake slap take with Ru himself, in a game called “Slap out of it!” The challenge, clearly, is inspired by Cher’s famous scene in Moonstruck, where she slaps Nicolas Cage across the face and tells him to “Snap out of it!” Ru takes turns slapping the girls around, and accidentally hits one of the girls for real! Can they sue?

The maxi challenge is the real showstopper. The contestants will be starring in Cher: The Unauthorized Rusical, where they will be telling the story of Cher’s life and career through the decades. Each queen will be assigned a different Cher era, from 60s Cher to comeback Cher. And the real challenge is that, on the main stage, they will have to sing completely live!

Tensions may still be running high between The Vixen and Eureka after last week’s showdown in front of the judges, but with a Cher-themed episode, who could possibly be thinking about that? Cher herself is going to be there — okay that’s a lie, but Chad Michaels makes a special appearance, and he may as well be Cher.

We hope these queens do Cher proud, or else she’ll fly in and slap them across the face for real.
