Jace is back with his friends, but he isn’t safe yet. This week, they face a difficult choice. Here’s how you can watch Shadowhunters tonight.
The Owl has once again been caged, but this time, not by Lilith. Thanks to Clary, Jace is in the custody of Magnus, Alec and Izzy on this week’s Shadowhunters, and they’re determined to free him from Lilith’s control.
The good news is, Magnus is pretty sure he can separate the two. And based on the episode promo, it looks like he does. But it’s still unclear how Lilith possessed Jace to begin with, which means we don’t know if she can trigger him again.
His friends might have some time to figure it out though, since Lilith’s attention is elsewhere this week.
After losing two disciples to Simon’s Mark, Lilith knows that he’s the only real threat to her right now. So she’s sought out the help — or rather, the apology — of the Seelie Queen. Lilith knows exactly how Simon got the Mark of Cain, and she wants it gone.
It works out well then that Simon is also looking for her. With Clary in jail, and the others focused on Jace, someone has to hunt her down. Luckily, he’s got the help of Maia and Jordan, awkward as it might be.
As far as Clary’s imprisonment goes, that’s Luke’s concern this week.
