Jaden Smith
Jaden Smith is known to always take risks. This time it seems as though he just threw on a Louis Vuitton coat and called it a day. No doubt that with a little bit more thinking, he could have really played into the theme and came out as “best dressed” last night. Maybe we should be thankful he didn’t bring his hair this time?

Kim Kardashian West
Queen of body-hugging attire, Kim seemed to go more low-key this year than in the past with this event. Yes, her body was on point. Yes, her makeup was flawless as always. But compared to others this year or even her own past looks at the Met Gala, the look was a bit underwhelming for the current theme.

Sarah Jessica Parker
There are so many things wrong with this look that we’re unsure where to even start. After seeing how fabulous many of the headpieces on the carpet were, Sarah Jessica Parker showed up with a Church tabernacle on top of her head. We’d expect something much more high fashion from SJP. The blue eye look she wore didn’t help.

Katy Perry
Though Katy Perry does look fabulous from the knee-high boots to the wings, it’s a bit too much. It seems as though she is trying to upstage everyone else but she could have done that without the wings.

Selena Gomez
Selena, is that you? The singer is so young and vibrant and we can sort of see where she was going with this angelic look. In her defense, the theme for this year may have been out of Coach’s range. At least her makeup was still on point?

Amal Clooney
For the most underwhelming win, Amal Clooney didn’t impress much with her Richard Quinn ensemble. We’d almost expect this for a night at the Emmy’s, not so much the Met Gala. While finding a wear to make pants look this incredible is commendable, we expected something much more from Amal.

Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig did try to play into the theme of the nigh. But she didn’t consider how this Fraulein Maria gown would actually make her look. She could have at least spiced it up with some accessories.
