Everything about Zendaya in this Versace gown is right. Not only does it play into the (k)night’s theme, but her entire beauty look compliments the silver so well. It’s very unexpected but does she ever make a wrong decision?

Chadwick Boseman

Black Panther isn’t afraid to take risks, as seen by Chadwick Boseman in Versace. The man can do what many can’t do and that is pull off wearing an excessive amount of gold. Check out those Christian Louboutin loafers!

Zoe Kravitz

Though it seems as though Zoe Kravitz’ Saint Laurent dress is just draped lace fabric and nothing more, she killed it with the most simple look on the entire carpet. She is definitely a celebrity who knows how to dress for their body.

Blake Lively

It’s very clear that Blake Lively won the entire carpet last night. Her Atelier Versace dress was not only on point with the theme but took an entire party bus to be transported in its entirety. To top it off, her Schwartz headpiece featured over 100 carats of champagne diamonds and that’s a win in itself.

Cardi B

Oh, heavenly mother. Wearing an intricate Moschino gown, the “Bodak Yellow” singer offered us so many stylistic stunners to look at. Her hair and that headpiece? That train? Her adorable baby bump on full display? The masterpiece took four weeks to make, and we have to say it was absolutely worth it.

Donald Glover

At first, it seemed as though Donald Glover showed up as many men do in just a tux. But this is Donald Glover we are talking about. He turned around and the photogs caught the “Eye of Providence” symbol embroidered on the back of his Gucci suit jacket. It showed off his personality and the colors complimented each other.

Michael B. Jordan

Michael B Jordan doesn’t have to do much to impress. That’s exactly how he turned up on the carpet last night to make all the women swoon. He wore an Off-White pinstripe suit with a simple cross and armband to spice it up.

The Queen of Dragons did not disappoint. Taking onlooker’s breath away in this Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda gown, Clarke was true to this year’s theme. Just look at those little cherubs! Clarke went for an angelic look herself, dabbing on extra blush to seem more innocent than sexy.

NEW YORK, NY – MAY 07: Lena Waithe attends the Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & The Catholic Imagination Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 7, 2018 in New York City. (Photo by Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images)

Lena Waithe

When it comes to Waithe’s look, she simply says she felt like “a gay goddess.” Waithe definitely came to the Met Gala with a statement, noting that when she saw the Carolina Herrera cape in person, she “got emotional.” With the night’s theme centering on religious imagery, we applaud Waithe for making such a powerful declaration for the LGBTQ community.
