Things on Supergirl look dark, as Kara struggles to deal with a major setback. Culturess has all the information you need on this week’s episode.
After a couple of (relatively) low-stakes episodes, Supergirl cranked up the drama last week. In addition to failing in her mission to reach Pestilence’s human side, Kara learned that Samantha is Reign. And, accepting the offer of strength to protect Ruby, she completed her transformation.
Now, all three Worldkillers have been unleashed. What happens next?

"SUPERGIRL TAKES ON ALL THREE WORLDKILLERS – Still reeling after learning about Lena’s (Katie McGrath) secret, Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) asks Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) for a favor that could alter his relationship with Lena forever. Meanwhile, with all three Worldkillers united, Supergirl and the team brace for an epic battle."
Suffice to say, it’s devastating to learn that your friend is secretly a genocidal villain. But Kara’s discovery might prove just as disastrous to her relationship with Lena. After all, the Luthor CEO had known about Samantha’s condition for a while and didn’t tell anyone. Which is worse? That she kept the information secret, or that she felt she had to? Why didn’t she trust Supergirl enough to share?
Of course, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance, Supergirl needs all the help she can get. Hopefully, the favor she needs from James, whatever it is, won’t permanently alienate Lena, or, for that matter, James.
To be honest, though, we’re just glad James finally gets something to do, even if it’s nefarious.
