The Originals season 5 episode 3 live stream: Watch online
They are playing Elijah’s song this week on The Originals. Will he remember his family vow? Here’s how you can stream tonight’s episode.
Joseph Morgan is directing tonight’s episode of The Originals, which is set to focus on Elijah Mikaelson and his quandaries. Morgan last directed “Keepers of the House,” the fourth episode of season 4. It was a dark and creepy piece of work, featuring ravens dropping from the sky and lights flickering when those influenced by The Hollow walked by. We are looking forward to Morgan weaving more of his Gothic magic.
All the episodes listed thus far for season 5 have a title linked to music as per last week’s review. Tonight’s episode, “Ne Me Quitte Pas,” translated as “Don’t Leave Me,” is the title of a 1959 song by Belgian singer-songwriter Jacques Brel.
The lyrics are about lost love, lost time and forgetting everything, which pretty much sums up Elijah perfectly. He was sadly missed from last week’s episode, it will be great to catch up with the reinvented piano player. Elijah is unaware that he had Marcel and Vincent erase all traces of his family, obligations, and regrets.
Here’s the synopsis:
"In the immediate aftermath of having his memory erased by Marcel, Elijah awakens to find himself in the middle of nowhere and without a clue as to who he is. Unable to control his instinctive vampire ways, Elijah encounters Antoinette, a beautiful and free-spirited vampire, who helps him navigate his new life. However, a run-in with Klaus threatens to destroy the peace he’s finally found."
