With only a few episodes left, you won’t want to miss tonight’s episode, “Black Jesus: The Book of Crucifixion.” So, here are the details to watch online.

In just a couple of episodes, Black Lightning will wrap up its first season. Luckily, The CW did the smart thing and renewed the show for season 2. Of course, if you’re familiar with the network, this comes as no surprise. Just remember, The CW has been airingSupernatural for almost 200 years and just aired a Scooby-Doo crossover last week … which performed pretty well in the ratings, too. Well, “pretty well” for The CW.

While it’s been a wonderful ride on Black Lightning, it’s also been an emotionally charged season.

In case you missed our preview of “Black Jesus: The Book of Crucifixion,” the synopsis for the new episode is listed below:

"As suspicions grow that Jefferson Pierce is Black Lightning, the ASA arranges to have him arrested. Lynn seeks help from Detecitve [sic] Henderson. Meanwhile, as Jefferson is in custody, Gambi and Anissa work together to show Black Lightning is still running around the streets of Freeland."

When we first met the Pierce family, it seemed like Jefferson’s problems in Freeland were kind of small. But as we gained more insight into the big picture, it became more and more apparent that both Jefferson and Black Lightning would need all the help they could get. Fortunately, he has two daughters with powers who can help carry the burden. And, obviously, Gambi and Lynn, which is a pretty great support staff.
